The story of our restaurant began in 1982, in the quiet, magical cove of Palia Damouchari. It all started with our mother, Aikaterini Zavitsianou, our first cook and the soul of this kitchen. With a passion for authentic Greek cuisine and a deep respect for the land of Pelion, she turned a small seaside corner into a landmark of hospitality that has operated continuously for over 40 years.

That is why we handpick the finest local products – from mountain herbs and virgin olive oil to the freshest catch from the Aegean Sea.

At our restaurant, we don’t just follow recipes; we follow the seasons. To maintain the legacy started by Aikaterini in 1982, we collaborate with small-scale local producers and artisans from the Pelion region.

The “Liquid Gold” of Pelion

Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the heart of our kitchen. Cold-pressed from local groves, it carries the aroma of the sea breeze and the richness of the Greek sun. It’s the same pure oil our family has used for generations.

Wild & Authentic: Tsitsiravla

A true Pelion landmark! These are wild sprouts of the Mount Pelion Atlantic pistachio tree, hand-picked in the spring and pickled according to our family’s secret recipe. A unique, tangy delicacy you won’t find anywhere else in Greece.

Mountain Herbs & Aromas

The “Mountain if Centaurs” is famous for its healing herbs. We use hand-picked oregano, thyme, and sage from slopes of Pelion to season our meats and salada, bringing the fragrance of the forest directly to your table.

From the Aegean Net

Our seafood isn’t “sourced” – it’s “welcomed”. We work with local fishermen who bring the catch of the day straight to our dock. From grilled octopus to fresh sea bream, the journey from the net to your plate is only a few meters.

Traditional Dairy & Honey

Our feta and traditional “galotyri” cheese come from local shepherds, while our honey is produced by bees that forage on the chestnut and plane trees of Pelion, offering a deep, earthy sweetness.
